Our Location | ||||
|
Alcon Canada was established in 1959 in an office in Don Mills, Ontario, marketing a small number of ophthalmic pharmaceuticals. Since that time, Alcon Canada has grown into Canada's largest eye care company.
Today, our Canadian headquarters are located in the city of Mississauga, Ontario, where we occupy a 92,000 square-foot, state of the art facility. Alcon Canada currently employs more than 200 people across the country and is an ISO registered company. | ||||

Today, Alcon Canada markets the full range of ophthalmic surgical supplies, instrumentation, pharmaceuticals along with dry eye and contact lens care solutions. We sell these products to hospitals, ophthalmologists, optometrists, opticians, and retail pharmacies.

In the spirit of partnership, our role is to help you find the answers you need to manage better the technical, clinical and business aspects of your practice.
Alcon Canada sponsors educational seminars in all aspects of eye care, including our annual Master Club Meeting, which covers a broad range of ophthalmic subjects. We have undertaken an extensive clinical research program in Canada, in association with our R&D Department in Fort Worth, Texas. We also support a variety of ophthalmic research programs in major universities across the country. Most recently, Alcon Canada has become the principle sponsor of the Canadian Glaucoma Clinical Research Council.
Alcon Canada supports numerous Canadian Medical Missions through the donation of ophthalmic drugs and devices to Canadian eye care specialists who volunteer their time and skills to preserve and restore sight in developing countries. We also donate pharmaceuticals and devices to the C.N.I.B. Mobile Eye Care Unit. Alcon Canada is proud to be a longtime sponsor of the Guide Dog program through the Lions Foundation of Canada.
